The BoardGameGeek API includes an endpoint for information about recent plays.

Some potential feature ideas to leverage this:

Recent plays on a page about a game
A widget and/or editor block block to show XX amount of all recent plays within a given timeframe (perhaps a simple list of titles, grouped by date)
