It would be very helpful for both contributors and users alike if you could add some kind of license to this repository so everyone knows exactly how it can be used.

The MIT license is of course very popular, but I think I personally like the more explicit Apache License, Version 2.0. However, if you don't really care all that much you could just go with something like the Free Public License 1.0.0 or some other popular license.

It also looks like the C# Digital Audio Synth library you've included here doesn't come with any kind of license! This could become problematic. So I would at least state somewhere (probably in the readme) that this library is not covered under any license you may provide yourself.

Ah, good catch! Updated the readme to reflect this. I am going to eventually remove that midi/synth library, as it isn't working entirely correctly. It is probably better to do that sooner rather than later, I just haven't managed to find a replacement for it.
