Thats most certainly a bug - we aren't replacing the ini, we're simply writing
a key
theoretically...
Did that just happen to you? Looking through the installer there isn't anything
that should be explicitly replacing that file.

Ah sorry, that was unclear on my end. After install you end up with the
dir in c: root (e.g. C:\max2011_x64 ) this folder also contains a plugins.ini
file. So if you just copy everything over and choose to overwrite you're
replacing your original plugin.ini. No real biggie tho
