Cleans up the dashboard, adds counter for total number of projects #62

Summary

The project dashboard had many HTML elements for features that are not yet functional. These elements have been hidden until time permits to add in those missing functions.

A feature that counts the total number of projects for a given user has been added to the dashboard.
