Recently, I am trying to use the bizicount for my count data. I really appreciate this magnificent pacakage. Do you have an option for the bivariate zero-inflated negative binomial "mixed model" ? I have repeatedly measured count data in the same sites and want to use the mixed model option to estimate random effects. Do you have this option or do you have a plan for this? Thank you in advance.

Hi! Thank you for reaching out, and apologies for the delay, I think I missed this due to the holidays.

The package does not currently support mixed models. I also do not know how mixed models would work theoretically in a copula setting. I will need to do more research to see if its possible. If you have any papers that come to mind on the topic, feel free to share them.

Thanks for the comment. I am using the bizicount very well for my forest ecology study. I am planning to publish it soon.

Okay, thanks! I'll take a look. I'll say that given constraints on my time, it may be several months before I have anything up for this. If you'd like to write it yourself and make a PR, you're of course welcome to. Otherwise, I'll get to this once my schedule frees up a bit here in the coming months.
