Importing Sound Files #1134

From a Teacher:

"My students are not able to import a sound file into Snap while in Chrome. The sound file appears to load in Snap, but when using the play sound block or double-clicking the sound file, nothing happens.

We have found that we can open Snap in Firefox, import the sound file where it plays fine, save the Snap project and open it in Chrome again. Then, the sound file will play just fine in Chrome.

Can anyone explain why this might be happening? Is there another way to resolve this issue. We have cleared our Chrome browse history, etc."

I can't reproduce this in Chrome on a Mac. Both .wav and .mp3 sound files import just fine, save and re-load just fine and play as often and in as many scripts (even in parallel) as I want. Maybe they're importing stuff from the web that streams...
