Hi, thanks for the report. Could you explain a bit more in detail what is happening? I'm a bit confused when exactly the music stops...
If I switch to another app, lock the phone, or anything where finamp isn't front and center, it stops.
In the settings, under "Audio Service" there is an option called "Enter Low-Priority State on Pause". Is that turned on for you? If yes, please try turning it off.
Another thing you can try is going into the app switcher, tapping the app icon of Finamp there, and tapping on "App Info". Then go to "Battery" and select "Unrestricted". More info at https://dontkillmyapp.com
I have this same problem on pixel 8a, even with allowing it in the background.

@mihnt81 @madskjeldgaard have you turned off "Enter Low-Priority Mode on Pause" in "Audio Service" settings? This should normally fix this issue.
There currently is a related issue (#956), but that's probably not the reason, since your issue is much older.
I also appear to be having this issue with similar specs. Pixel 6 Android 14 Same settings as above, including disabling the one you suggested.
Same issue, where changing apps or locking the phone cuts off playback, but resumes immediately if I refocus it. I've also noticed the "mini player" that's normally present in my notifications list is missing now.
I've been using Finamp for a long time and never had an issue until now. Unfortunately, I'm unsure exactly when it started.

Yes it's turned off here too and still no luck unfortunately.
Switching to the beta version fixed this for me. With the beta it seems to work perfectly 🙂
Hi there. Using the finamp version from the play store on a pixel 7 pro. (So, android 14.)
Issue is as described in the title. It doesn't do this consistently, but it never fails to stop playing when my car disconnects from the phone. This wouldn't be a huge issue normally, but I use finamp while doing the whole delivery service thing so I am in and out of my car. Slows me down to have to open finamp each time and restart it playing.
