[Redesign] Improve Grid View

The design of grid view feels inconsistent (and aesthetically overwhelming) compared to the rest of the app. Overlaying the album and artist name over the album art is a bit chaotic and would benefit from the same design language as the list view - that is, placing the artist and album name under the album art. I have included screenshots from youtube music and HalpoPlayer which illustrate how a similar grid view might look and how text can be more legible and provide an overall cleaner interface. A bit more padding and space around each album would be beneficial too.

I'll see if I can fit it in at some point, but honestly grid view is not a priority right now. The redesign didn't change it yet, it's the same as in the stable version.

Once the screens have been re-designed for the list views, I'll think about this. Maybe the toggle between list and grid view will be removed entirely, using grid items where it makes sense. I actually believe this is how the redesign is planned at the moment...

Edit: Grid view will probably not go away completely, there will be some screens ("list" of albums/artists/playlists/genres) where it makes sense to support both.

I'd say keeping grid view for album lists and stuff would be useful, I think it's nice to have for tablets and stuff

This a great idea that I hope others feel similarly about. I relate to my music through my album art. Probably from the days of scanning through vinyl in the record store. Having a fast grid view with the adjustments mentioned above would be very well received I think.
