Couldn't connect, now app seems permanently damaged #5

I launched the app, clicked on the + as instructed, and added the freenode network together with my nick and password. Then, in the channel list, I added my preferred channels separated by a comma sign, since there was no indication that I needed to do it any other way.

After I clicked connect, the application seemingly did nothing. No server log messages, no diagnostic information to the user as what was going on, no nothing.

Worse, shutting down the application and starting it again, only yields a black window with a large # symbol for a few seconds, and then the application quits by itself.

Which build of Windows 10 are you on? Maybe one of the APIs I use isn't compatible with that build of Windows and I need to rectify which version(s) of Windows 10 I support.

You should be able to wipe the app data in the Windows 10 "Apps and Features" section in Settings, then try adding the server again

System panel says 15063.413.

Using the Apps and Features panel to uninstall it, and then installing it again via the Store doesn't seem to wipe the data, as the newly reinstalled app just quits upon launch again.

I meant "wipe the app data" as reinstalling the app will redownload any synced app data.

If you go to Apps and Features -> WinIRC -> Advanced options there's an option to reset the app
