Program gives an exception when closing a .cbr being opened

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a .cbr file
2. While is showing "assessing page size xx/yy" use tap action to close the file
3. The program closes with an error message "Application error, an unexpected 
error has ocurred: java.lang.NullPointerException"

What is the expected output?
The program should cancel the file being opened and return to the library screen

What do you see instead?
The program force closes

What version of the product are you using?

2.2.6.2

On what operating system?
Android 4.4.2

What device are you using?
Cube talk 9x

It happens with every .cbr file i tried, i.e. this file fails:
