I really would like to do some real API usages (at least against the sandbox APIs) for verification of subscription based purchases.

Currently I assume this would require:

A dummy iOS app + a configured In-App-Purchase subscription
A dummy Android (PlayStore) app + a configured In-App-Purchase subscription
The secrets to connect to the iTunes / PlayStore APIs
