[FR]: how can we use this? #658

I really don't know how I can use the information provided by this plugin. It sounds like it would be great on machines with the wheels at the corners but so far as I know, the only adjust I have is Z-offset and it's not clear how I would apply this information to that. The directions in the corrections tab seem designed for those machines.

I can't include the image but these are my values, all red/above offset.

0 | 0.122 | 0.212 | 0.306 | 0.331 | 0.393 | 0.398 | 0.429 |
39 | 0.112 | 0.219 | 0.290 | 0.315 | 0.381 | 0.410 | 0.407
78 | 0.158 | 0.243 | 0.306 | 0.271 | 0.388 | 0.407 | 0.387
118 | 0.167 | 0.252 | 0.328 | 0.376 | 0.384 | 0.393 | 0.389
157 | 0.226 | 0.300 | 0.376 | 0.341 | 0.405 | 0.407 | 0.380
196 | 0.215 | 0.298 | 0.352 | 0.371 | 0.395 | 0.381 | 0.347
235 | 0.217 | 0.333 | 0.322 | 0.363 | 0.366 | 0.272 | 0.324

Nothing over .5mm, variance of .3175. Much as I would the mesh to be uniform edge to edge. corner to corner, how does one gt there?

You are correct, the correction data is really only good for beds with screw adjustments. For those beds that are fixed the only real benefit of the plugin is showing you how not flat most beds are. Some people apply kapton tape or aluminum foil under the bed at the lower points in an attempt to get perfectly flat, but in my opinion the only true way to get a flat bed is by using a cast aluminum tool plate that has been machined flat.

So this has multiple dependencies:

I can satisfy 2 out of 3. I'd like to see the results on my other machines but I don't know if adding a CR/BL touch unlocks the mesh mapping routine.

Adding a probe of any kind would require fishing new firmware with the proper options enabled.
