Did you set the timezone of your Pi? You can do that by SSH'ing to the Pi and running sudo raspi-config
and there are localization settings.

It was the timezone issue.
I've tried this a few times now, and the setup process seems to be OK. I can enter the date and the time. However, the print does not wait for the scheduled time to begin. Instead, it begins nearly immediately, within less than one minute.
This has occurred for both schedules that are near in time--maybe 5 to 10 minutes in the future, and, with delays that are hours away--maybe around 8 or so.
