(BTW, it also should always output a "type" attribute for every
<script> tag and every <link> tag, as Eclipse complains if such is
missing.)

I'm not sure I understand the issue.  Would you send the HTML text, the version 
of the Web Page Editor you're using and the error message.

With the Galileo web page editor, I see a warning on type attributes. With 
Indigo, it is gone.  Neither complain if it is missing.
