It would be worth checking that the existing inkscape G-code export plugins generate the right thing with these gears...

Never used the g-code export plugins. Do you suspect issues? How would we know that it does the 'right thing'? Do you have a test case?

I gues I'll try to find one :-) Friend has a 3d printer...
