How to suppress initial message "M1-8" #30

Hello Jürgen, thank you for the great tool. I am using it with Rasbian "Buster" on a Raspberry Pi 3b. I works out of the box. I want to use it in a Co2-Ampel; to show concentration of carbon-dioxide in a classroom. When I want to show a new value and run the script again, it's always showing "M1-8" before it shows my text. Can I suppress this init message?
