Below is the summary of recording transcribe and note-taking:
SCHEDULING
-given to manager to plan/automatic
-Teacher can be both full and part time Can make a list of full time/part time teachers and allocate different total number of hours they have to commit
-hours for teachers are ad hoc and thus can be in any stretch of time not exceeding 4 hours consecutively
-Assign as long as class is free no matter instrument type teachers can teach multiple instruments Teachers can choose which insrument to work, up to them
-Students can learn multiple instruments at diff time slot and can select preference for teacher can have a resource stating which other teachers are available if student doesn't want the current teacher
-teachers are not hard assigned to a student
-teacher indicate first/student also can teachers and students can indicate availability at the same time, to solve conflict, we can just randomly allocate (e.g studentA and studentB want teacherA. Randomly allocate studentA to teacherA. Cannot use manager to resolve this conflict because might be biased)
-reschedule the class for last minute cancelled classes (e.g. can immediately notify students and managers of cancellation and refund info etc)
MANAGER
-role = just make fine adjustments(manually) and override/resolve problems
-managers are to book their own shifts
-Student can choose recurrence but must pay first can have refund option and manager to adjust refund price
PAYMENT
-Students pay upfront first bookings should be paid upfront
-Payment system can be online/offline
REGISTRATION
-Counter registration or individual can both be done
-Preference not to have a tedious account registration form, either keep registration as simple as possible or have manager register on their behalf
-Can be a form with student name + NRIC(last 4 digit)
OTHERS
-Notification system for teacher cannot make it last minute
-Student request deletion of account
-students, managers, parents can connect to view progress report and register (future extension) Student parent can also look at son data(extra feature)
-no preferred format for data representation
-system should be expandable for new staff
-unassigned students are students that have not been assigned a class that week, or what the auto booking system has missed
-Unassigned students practically the same as student
