Did you install PRSP earlier on another device?
Did you restart the reader at least twice?

I got it from eBay with 1.0 firmware installed, so I updated the firmware to
2.0. Since the original owner never bothered to do anything with the firmware.
I don't think PRSP has ever been installed. I did restarted the 950 several
times before and after the failed PRSP installations.

BTW, I restarted the device with the push of the reset button, I've never
powered it off until now. Maybe resets are no good?

Please try reinstalling and restarting the normal way various times.
During shutdown/restart, the installation is performed.
The windows script mainly copies the files to the reader. The real installation
is done during startup and the next reboot.

Repeated it on another Win 7 PC with the 2.1 Alpha version for 5 times and
got the same thing. maybe there is something I should do before running
setup.exe or something I shouldn't have done like updating the firmware to 2.0
from 1.0? Also, I noticed that the READER is mounted as E: drive and SETTINGS
as H drive. Yet setup.exe always tried to run the setup on the E drive,
shouldn't it be done on the H drive where SETTINGS is located?

finally, I removed the pdf files I put into the internal memory and the
installation went on without a hitch. Before the removal, the 950 only had 45MB
left, I guess it's just not enough.
