I think it would be really nice to have the report embedded in MetaboShiny so that there's a report tab where the user can fill in information about the data and that will be printed in the report. Could have an option to report the data summary with it (number of peaks, samples, etc.).
I also think it would be cool to have a "Add to report" button next to the different plots - maybe also including there an optional explanation/caption box that the user can fill out if they want. Also include a predefined text that gets printed with explanations about the analysis method. I.e., if the user adds a PCA plot to the report, then a short explanation about PCA gets printed before the plot.
