Work with Home Assistant Core? #14

Hello, I already have an Matt broker but run HA Core as opposed to hassio. Will this work as an integration (rather than an add-on) via HACS, if I add the repo?

Hi, I don't know how HACS integrations work, so this addon is not (at least yet) HACS ready.

But basically, it is simply a python script that you have call passing all your configs, including the broker IP. The script will connect to the broker, subscribe to telegraf topic, and publish back the formated data into the broker again, to a topic the home assistant listens to.

So you can call that script straight. Not sure though how you could add it to boot.
