I'm now taking a look at this, trying to merge it. There is a stray closing parens in lib/sly-completion.el.

I just accidentally (!) pushed this to master, after a few edits. I did mean to do those adjustments, but I didn't mean to push them so prematurely, instead I wanted to ask for your comments. A hitherto "P" unpressed and unknown keybinging in the *vc-dir* buffer was the culprit.

Well look in master now and comment here, please.

What's left to discuss? Sorry for the mistakes that you had to correct.

Maybe nothing. Just wanted to have your opinion. They weren't mistakes, really. Just adjustments
