Organizations/Hubs (for private groups) #132

I was speaking with an organisation interested in JoatU, but also flirting with the idea of managing their own group of volunteers. Basically, using JoatU's platform to list their needs, to have a select group of users that can see them and fulfill them, and then to reward them with credits to be spent internal to their system.

The early version of this is entirely possible today. It requires me creating a Pod and having all of the users join putting in a special postal code. The organization can post as an individual to this specific pod and tip users with CAPS (in theory, he can tell the users of this pod that 0.01CAPS are equivalent to one point of his specific system...And he would have a log of how many each of these users receive, despite if they receive CAPS from another source. The greatest downside to the current version is that users would only be a part of one POD and it would be a private one.

The later version requires non-location based pods. The ability to have hidden pods. The ability to have organizations (or maybe even individuals) to create and manage pods. The ability for users to be able to join multiple pods (for non-location). Ideally at this point users would be be able to select multiple pods as their 'proximity'. Other currencies being able to be created within the system and managed by other organizations (or individuals) with their specific rules.

As was mentioned in the discussion, these could be organizations.

Added organizational features:

Users can post offers/requests limited only to the view of other members of the organization (if they want to). Or they can post visible to several organizations/pods or all or a geographic region or global. Users can join multiple organizations.

Idea for discussion: Users can join more than one pod (home pod + work pod?) : I'm imagining we have pods that are touching/overlapping and people who are living on the edge. If we change the borders of the pod...If we have overlapping pods...I'm just uncertain as to how to undertake these issues.

There's also the possibility that the pods fade away for search-relevance (but remain relevant for democratic value purposes) as geo-located distances (as discussd in #104 ) become more central once we've reached critical mass.
