Bug ? Same idx for all new switches

Hello,

Very good plugin ! But I have a problem :

• when I start a sonoff basic, from a standard tasmota configuration, WIFI OK, Tasmoticz creates the new device. Good ! Almost nothing to do !
• when I start another (different) sonoff basic, with another friendly name (or not), Tasmoticz just updates the one it creates juste before. It just change the name on the device, uses the same idx in Domoticz. At this point, both sonoff are acting in the same time. If I switch one in Domoticz, the other one is acting too, but just one is display on the devices list. Maybe it's a problem on my configuration ? I use all last versions of Domoticz, Tasmota, Tasmoticz. Thank you in advance. Regards.

Hi Steven,

I have never seen that, but Tasmota is a very fast moving target. Could be, they changed something that causes this. I‘ll have a look.

have you changed the topic of your tasmota devices to unique ones? What you describe would happen if the topics are all the same.

Also, tasmoticz should not pick up tasmota devices with standard topic, but wait until you change the topic from the default ("sonoff" or "tasmota").

If you have unique topics, please provide tasmota logs of your devices starting up. That could help me identify the issue.

Domoticz logs from the time they are discovered could help, too.
