Your environment

Windows 8, Enterprise;

TbSync version: 4.3 Thunderbird version: 102.7.2 (64-Bit) CardDAV Server on DMS: 6.0.10-0153 (DSM 6.2.4-25556 Update 6)

Expected behavior

I create a new contact in the Address book, after the sync the contact should be on the CardDAV Server

Actual behavior

I create a new contact in the Address book, after the sync the contact IS NOT on the CardDAV Server. Changes in exising contacts are correctly synced.

Steps to reproduce

1) Create a new contact NewContact 2) Sync is started an says OK Sync_OK 3) New Contact is not on the server NewConcactNotOnServer

To help resolving your issue, enable debug logging (TbSync Account Manager -> Help) and send me the debug.log via e-mail (use the title of your issue as subject of the email).

Confirmed as an issue on iCloud too.

I have the same problem on TB 102, TBSync version 4.3 on Windowx 10. I use a Synmology NAS asnd sync with an Andaroid, too. Missing some contacts I controlled. In TBSync all seems to be fine (status OK) The protocol is empty. Fyct is that addresses in TB do not get to the server...

I've been able to sort my problem out with the native calDav support:

Haven't chased down calendar/task sync yet, but I don't think this is working with icloud either.

sory for the delay, But this does not work for me (and my Synology NAS). In hoppe for anhaother answer or solution or update of TBSync I waited. No chance. Meanwhile I think it is a problem within Thunderbird it self that it dioes not actualize. Still looking for an alternative... I do not like the new behaviour of using contacts, too.: No more manging within the the contacts list butr a difficult menue on the top. Maybe this is good for membvers list but not for sorting many contacts as I use. And difficult ro manage, too!

It turned out to be a short term solution for me too. I'm back with TbSync with sync that kind of works - as mentioned above, as long as I only make changes on my ios devices, TbSync picks up the changes. Changes made in Thunderbird don't propagate to iCloud at all.

I would like to point you all to this document: https://github.com/jobisoft/DAV-4-TbSync/wiki/Since-Thunderbird-102,-TbSync-DAV-is-using-native-CardDAV-sync

TbSync uses native CalDAV/CardDAV sync and it only exists because users requested to keep it due to its extended discovery methods.

There should be no difference between setting up the resources manually in Thunderbird. Please re-open this issue, if this is not the case after all.
