Calendar entrys silently failing to sync #236

Maybe this is more a feature request than an Issue.

Your environment

TbSync version: 4.6 EAS-4-TbSync version: 4.7 Thunderbird version: 115.1.1 / Arch

Expected behavior

All Elements are synced and showing up in Thunderbird as well as OWA.

Actual behavior

Some Elements are only shown in Thunderbird (where i created them) but seemingly are not synced to Exchange / not shown in OWA. There are no Sync Errors or Error Messages.

If i try to edit such an Element (e.g. Change Time) , i get "Error 8" (see Logfile).

Steps to reproduce

Right now sync seems to work fine both ways.

Don't know really how these ghostly Elements came into Existence. Maybe some stuff went wrong in between the Thunderbird updated to 116 and today? But as of know i just have a couple of such Elements but now real way to determine how many and what they are.

Is there a way to trigger a complete resync or check the Syncstate of each Element? Deleting and resyncing the calender ist not a real option because i would probably loose my Elements.

I don't mind just list of wonky Elements or Duds. Anything is better than the Thrill of having an out of sync calendar without knowing it :)

Might be related to #226

To help resolving your issue, enable debug logging (TbSync Account Manager -> Help) and send me the debug.log via e-mail (use the title of your issue as subject of the email).

You can disconnect your account in the TbSync Manager (which removes all local resources from Thunderbird) and re-connect your account and sync fresh. You will then get a fresh copy, which should not have any of the bad items anymore.
