Always Ask on calling

Would it be possible to modfiy "always ask" whether to dial through the phone 
or Sipdroid so that it only asks when Sipdroid has an active connection (green 
dot).  Otherwise this is an extra key stroke that I am required to make 
whenever I am out of range of a wifi network (i have Sipdroid set to only use 
wifi).  For those people that use their carrier's 3G network I assume this is 
not a annoyance.  I was hoping that by checking the status (green dot or not), 
this would work for everyone and make the feature even better.
