Problem with pbxes.com auto-setup #798

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. installed new version of sipdroid (2.0.1 beta)
2. clicked button "new PBX linked to my Google Voice)
3. Filled out form

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It did create some kind of account apparently because it would connect and
allow calls, but I was unable to login to pbxes.com site. I get the error
"[nativecode=1049 ** Unknown database 'christcb-asterisk'] **
mysql://asteriskuser:amp109@localhost/christcb-asterisk" after entering user
account and password. This appears to be due to the setup process from
sipdroid did not do a complete job. I am now completely unable to access
anything on the site and cannot find any help.

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?

version 2.0.1 beta on htc aria with cyanogenmod android 2.2.1

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?

read above

Which type of network are you using?

wireless lan at my house

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem. I think it may be related to the fact I deleted my
account on pbxes.org readding it again. I did not realize it would be
automatically created when I launched sipdroid on my smartphone. do I need to
open a ticket with pbxes.org?

This has already been reported as issue 780. I hope it's fixed now but leave
open for verification.

I've installed sipdroid multiple times and in each instance when I run the
program the button to connect GV and pbxes is not there. Uninstall/reinstall..
button is never there. I did a full wipe and reinstalled CM6.1.2 and still the
same thing (HTC Evo 4G).

Looks like some other people around the web are having the same problem. Is
anyone else here experiencing this?

Only way to get gtalk trunk is to have sidroid create pbxes account but have
installed and removed and reinstalled many times and no button to create.
Please help!!

You have to setup Google Voice first to make that button appear. Enjoy.
