What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Ongoing call.
2. Incoming notification.
3. Ear pain.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect the phone to vibrate only or play the notification sound very
quietly (preferably from the back speaker).
Instead, the notification sound is played at full blast from the earpiece,
which is not only startling, but also painful.
What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
Sipdroid 2.0.1 on a HTC Desire with CyanogenMod 7 nightly builds, problem has
been present pretty much all along (all through CyanogenMod 6, Sense Froyo &
Eclair builds, going back to Android 2.1 on the Motorola Milestone).
Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
Using PBXes.
Which type of network are you using?
Happens on both 3G and WiFi...
Please provide any additional information below.
