Can hear other person fine when on speaker, can't hear them at all when set to earpiece #937

I can make and receive calls just fine. Once connected I can't hear the other 
person at all when the phone is set to use the internal (earpiece). If I place 
the call on speaker then everything works well, but the other person complains 
that my voice is now much harder to hear. 

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Making/Receiving SIP Calls

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system? 
Sipdroid 2.3 beta, EVO 3D, Android 2.3.3

Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?
pbxes & google voice

Which type of network are you using?
wifi
