Sound Garbled on Samsung I9003 and Gingerbread #956

Hello

I've upgraded my samsung galaxy s scl gt-I9003 to from 2.2.1 to 2.3.4 through 
the xda tutorials.

while sipdroid connected to an asterisk switch on my local network works 
perfectly in 2.2.1, the sound is garbled in 2.3.4. I've tried different codec 
(alaw & gsm), no luck. On rare occasions, I've had a clear call, but no more 
than 1 out of 20.

I've flashed back the 2.2.1, and bingo, perfect sound.... (alaw AND gsm with 
later transcoding to g729...)

This happens with the latest sipdroid release (2.3 beta) and 2.0.1. Working 
version on Froyo is Sipdroid 2.3 beta

I really want the gingerbread as PPTP does not work in Froyyo...

If testing is needed, I'm ready to help,
