"After that, the appropriate version of should be installed by Download page." -- appropriate version of what? Also, what if someone tries to follow your instructions a couple of years later? The version hosted on that download page might have changed. You state the version you used and then say that the executable varies by OS so you need to download vX for your OS from this link.

Also, your manual instructions do not specify versions for cpp stats, python etc. Again, someone who comes in 5 years might be downloading different versions by "latest". So you need to specify the version numbers you used

The information I was referring to is in the manual instructions part. You do not specify what version of cppstats or srcML is needed. Maybe the latest version 2 years from now will be different. You need to specify which version you have tried to get to your current results.
