I have found that if you log out and then log back into the dyson app on your phone as part of this you receive a code via email that you need to type into the app. Once done restart your homebridge and the plugin should connect ok

I'm seeing the same issue. I logged out/in to the app as suggested and got the temp code. Am I supposed to put that into the config?
I followed these instructions (log out of dyson app, log back in to dyson app, restart homebridge) and its working for me.
@afrustagli the temp code you get e-mailed just goes into the dyson app as part of logging back in
Was this ever resolved? What password should go into the "Device Password box?"
For days now, the Dyson plugin has stopped working for me, the purifier model that I have is the HP04, it has always worked well, and now no longer, I get an error in the log saying "Missing password for device" is supposed that in that field you do not have to put anything if it is the HP04 model, right? I have always had it blank
