Thumbnail nav. scroll is off in IE #119

I'm having 2 issues with the script in IE. i tried everything but I cant 
seem to find the solution.

1) when I try to scroll the thumbnails it does not work, only when i move 
the mouse up about an inch it works

2) the fading effect sometimes works and sometimes not.

In Firefox I dont have any of this issues.

Ok I found the problem, I did not have the <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD 
XHTML 
1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> on the 
page 
works fine now
