0.0.18 locks up sometimes when a disc is inserted - I don't know how to fix
this yet.
0.0.17 does not have this problem becuase it doesn't try to detect when a disc
is
inserted.

Yeah, but with 0.0.17, the wii hang as I try to load a Wii disc (pushing B,
etc...).
Same problem in fact. And I don't understand the link between DVDx installation
and
the network setup... Something to do with IOSs ?

In 0.0.17 (DVDx normal install), when I try to mount a wii disc, I get the
following :
###
Mounting image at /wod...failed.
Mounting Wii Disc filesystem at /fst...failed.
Mounting ISO9660 filesystem at /dvd...failed.
###
Always in 0.0.17 but with a DVDx Patchmii install (IOS254), I get the following
message when starting ftpii :
###
net_init()failed: [-116] Connection timed out, retrying...
###
I'me lost...

Hmm, I suspect some IOS incompatibility causes the network failure. I think
Waninkoko's cIOS (IOS249) usually work quite well, e.g. rev6. The later ones
like
rev9 and rev10 also work well, but currently break ftpii's USB support, I think.
Want to try installing one of those and switching DVDx to use it? Let me know
how
you go...
I don't plan on doing much about this problem unless I can replicate it or
someone
submits a patch...

So You ask me to reinstall DVDx, choosing the IOS 249 ? Ok, I'll try this.
In fact, the goal was to backup my games, and with the USB loader, using
ftpii/wifi
is not the best option to dump game disks. But I'll test, I'm just too curious
;).
Thank You.

FTPii updated to 0.0.19
DVDx custom reinstalled with IOS249.
Wii Fit original Wii disc inserted.
"
Mounting WII disc image...succeeded.
Mounting WII file system...succeeded.
Mounting ISO960 filesystem...failed.
"
T_T
Too bad, I think I'll never know...
Forget it, unless You are more curious than me ;)
Thank You anyway,
Ghuntar.

Hey,
That looks great! You will have /wod with the disc image, and /fst with the
individual files on the disc filesystem. ISO9660 is expected to fail because
Wii
discs don't have an ISO9660 filesystem.
Thanks for testing.

Hum, I don't remember seeing something like this (/wod and /fst). Only the /ifs,
/nand, /sd, /usb if I remember right (/usb does'nt work, but I got 2 partitions
on my
USB disk (1 FAT & 1 WBFS) that could confuse FTPii like seen in issue 54).
I'll check this evening if I can.

The /wod and /fst are here, everythings ok now ! It must have been some
refreshing
problem in Filezilla (I supose)...
Thanks again !

I had the same problems and installation of DVDX with IOS249 helped me
partially only.
I'm using Wii 4.0E, bannerbomb installer, but some other DVDX installer (not
sure which one) which allows
"advanced" installation.
ftpii 0.0.19 is started with DVD in drive or DVD inserted after ftpii is
successfully started.
Wii Fit original disc inserted.
"
Mounting WII disc image...succeeded.
Mounting WII file system...
"
ftpii hangs at this point.
