Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_get_root_domain()

1. Install Wordpress
2. Enable multiuser
3. Install and active buddypress
    Note: I am unclear as to where to activate bp.  I activated it in the main blog but the settings menu item showed up under Network Admin.
4. Install bp-album.
5. Activate the plugin.
    Note: I am unclear as to where to activate bp-media.  I activated it under Network Admin.

[What is the expected output? What do you see instead?]
I expect to see a message that bp-album has been activated.

Instead I see a message
"Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_get_root_domain() in 
/home4/laellisc/public_html/fursplace/wp-content/plugins/bp-album/loader.php on 
line 117"

Ack, Even after deleting bp-album the front page is blank.  The page source is 
blank.

It sounds like you've got another plugin that isn't compatible with bp-album. 
Try disabling *all* plugins except BP-Album and BuddyPress. Do you still get 
the problem?
