Include visualisation of series #3

Allow the user to visualise series in the data. The functionality is already 
there an just needs enabling in ScatterPlotControlPanel; but then the interface 
gets quite confused. It may be better to have a way of hiding this 
functionality from new users, but include it in a popup.

(The same point applies to adding single points to selections and to showing 
test sets) 

This functionality will also need testing on data sets that include a date 
attribute. Its not clear whether the date attribute should be used as a 
numerical attribute as a spatial attribute.
