Thanks for good article.

(1) What are typical attributes or factors required for predictive maintenance? (2) I am unable to understand 'time_since_issue' and 'time_to_issue'. Kindly provide small example. (3) After building model why are we running pdm in simulation mode? (4) Concept behind "pdm_threshold_time=400 timesteps hence, which is the ML models' target variable"

I would also like to ask questions about the sensor derivative values. What is the basis of using such formula to calculate the damage done to the machine based on the sensor values? Is there any paper supporting such formula or is it simply an assumption? thank you
