Method for Swapping Host GPUs? #39

Hey there, thanks for your work on this!

I am running a dual GPU setup, with the guest GPU being the beefier of the two. I would like the option of assigning this GPU back to the host, so I can have the best beef there. It looks like I could use the unbind/rebind scripts to accomplish this, changing the PCI IDs to reference which card I want to use on the host.

Prior attempts I have made at this involved a separate grub entry addressing the other card. This did not work however, and I think it was because the Nvidia driver was setup for one of the cards, and was unwilling to detect and use the other card instead :/

I got it working, you need to change xorg if you want to swap GPUs.

I start the VM, it sets xorg to only use the iGPU. And to change it back I set xorg to use the dGPU again.

Small note: I can use both Linux and the guest OS at the same time, as long I have at least 1 monitor connected to the iGPU, and one to the dGPU.
