missing microphone #34

not sure how to access the speech-to-text part

There is a microphone in the top right part. If the microphone is not there, it means that the service is not available.

what about when writing to a person for the first time? could we gray it out if it's not available instead of invisible and maybe with some feedback e.g. "unavailable because there's currently no internet connection accessible"?

When it is the first time it is also there. I tried initially disabling them, but the icon is not changing colors and it is the system who handles this so I ended up making them invisible. I'll take a look into this.
