What is a 'force batch'? I do not see this option in current fannie.

How can one change the edit the products within an active/inactive sales batch? What will changing the priority do?

I can't seem to upload a spreadsheet successfully to create a sales batch. Appears to succeed but no products are added. Using an .XLSX file which looks like this after upload. screen shot 2014-01-23 at 2 43 34 pm

"Force batch" is used to make a batch active BEFORE it's specified to go live. e.g. you are creating a new batch that you want to be active TODAY.
"Owner" allows you to group batches by owner, so the produce buyer can ask to see only batches owned by produce, for example
"Priority" is used if there is one item in two active batches at different sale prices. Set the override priority on the batch with the ACTUAL sale price and that will be the one in effect.
To Edit, just click the pencils from within the batch list.
RE: Importing: try using XLS or CSV files

Attempted to upload a coop deals worksheet...I don't think it is working....UPC formatting has a dash in it...Also interested to talk about how it handles the additional fields outside of price and UPC.

In managing batch types...what does setting it to '0' mean?...it says None (Change regular price)

What if vendor price sheets contain apostrophes and or quotes..or other strange characters in the description field? Any way to filter these out?

While uploading vendor pricing...there is a mandatory selection of a 'Case Cost (Reg)'. It is listed twice in the pulldown. One cannot proceed without using both selections. This seems like a bug...Please refer to an upload using: documentland/Technology/POS/CORE_Upgrade/vendor pricing/SUNFOOD2
