• [ ] run data massage: sales-normalization.php ( #133 )
• [ ] re-update ALL op tables (products, custdata, employees, etc..)
• [ ] empty out all testing data
• [x] install ubuntu 11.10 onto testlane
• [x] install CORE onto testlane
• [x] install git-core
• [x] clone repo to lanes
• [x] set up h/w (drivers, permissions)
• [ ] dump mysql data into separate DBs (core_opdata + core_translog)
• [ ] update configs (DB names, server IP, users)
• [ ] update KB programming on all lanes (new labels)
• [ ] dd over network to lanes 1,2, and 3
• [ ] update: static IP (clear any stored MACs), laneno, hostname

Looks like we need to upgrade to >= PHP 5.3 on the POS server. (currently 5.2.6) http://nenadbulatovic.blogspot.com/2013/01/php-52-to-53-on-debian-lenny.html

I've added backports to apt sources but there are a LOT of outdated dependencies, i will run a dist-upgrade but not til after hours since i dont want to break things in production.

Also: Wouldnt hurt to bring MySQL up to 5.5 while we are at it. (currently 5.0.67)
