item maintenance input error #204

Rather than produce a mysql error when there is a failure at new item entry...Could the error be a bit more precise as to the nature of the error....ie no subdept, no price, etc.

So this issue relates to IS4C/Fannie? Not CORE-POS/Fannie. Right? Might be best if we had some way to keep these separate. Like a new tag. I made one.
