Below are the details from an email from Mike on the DQA's ability to
scan ENH data.
Ended up being a problem with old dataless.
Adam,
IC_ENH appears to have a problem: SeedScan is only able to "see" the
vertical channel data.
I can see that the horizontal .seed files are there, but for some
reason SeedScan is dropping them.
This started sometime between 2013:101 and 2013:123 (e.g., 2013:100
works and 2013:101 does not).
The class that handles the reads (SeedSplitProcessor) is HUGE and was
written by Joel.
I wonder if there is a different code we could use to verify the
quality of miniseed files before running them
through SeedScan.
i.e., Right now I am going down a path to debug SeedSplitProcessor to
see why it is not handling
seed files that are obviously "off" in some way -- can't we check
these
another way ?
I would imagine if you go through your front end, you will see a
bunch
of "0 availability" for the IC_ENH
horizontals beginning around 2013:101 ... This is why.
