It would be extremely useful, if there were a way to set a date/time when a SMS 
is to be sent out. I'd like to schedule sending SMS.

until now, only some connectors are able to do it. but scheduling is done on 
the connector's system.

Hm, well, it would be nice, if the WebSMS program itself could do the 
scheduling. I guess this would mean that it would have to run as some sort of 
background task / service, so that it could wake up at the right time to 
transmit the SMS.
