Have to re-link with google drive each time starting the browser, any solutions? #769

It seems that for me, the google drive link only works with one session. If I close the web browser with dillinger, and restart the browser later to visit dillinger again, the saving to google drive will stop working. I tried to click the save session button and it doesnt help anything, the documents still will not be saved to my google drive. It is as if the link to google drive fails each time you close a browse window/tab with dillinger.

The only way is to unlink google drive and re-link it, then saving to google drive will work again. But this means each time I visit dillinger, I have to unlink and then relink my google drive, which becomes tedious and frustrating. Is there a better solution than this? Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Hmm this is an odd one. I'm not experiencing that with my Google account? Maybe something either set with your Google account or your browser is disabling the session being saved. I cant reproduce this issue.

Well the issue still happens to me and its quite frustrating. Can this be caused by me using two different PCs to link to my google drive? I have two PCs that connect to dillinger with google drive, one at work and one at home. Also it seems that for the same document on both PCs, they are saved separately. Google Drive is unable to identify that they are the same document.

This is a google account management issue, not Dillinger unfortunately.

I would isolate the issue to one account, one computer and see where the issue pops up. I tried with 3 different google/g suite accounts and have no issues.
