Use e.g. http://kmkeen.com/rtl-power/ to make a static radar. Could duplicate rtl_power for alsa and make an hf static radar too.

could combine multiple receivers with gps sync'd clocks?

Perhaps just mix some pps in with the RF and fish it out later?
