Creating genetic maps for hg38? #2

Hi and thanks for this script. I'd love to create genetic maps for hg38.

Do you know of any files with recombination rates for hg38 (like ftp://ftp.1000genomes.ebi.ac.uk/vol1/ftp/technical/working/20130507_omni_recombination_rates/ ?)

Or do you think just lifting over these files is good enough?

Three years later, these files seem to exist now (lifted by someone at the Broad?) https://alkesgroup.broadinstitute.org/Eagle/downloads/tables/
