Work out watch logging

• [ ] look at the code to work out if logging is still switched on.
• [ ] look at which bits of the process fail on the watch
• [ ] run a live test of the logging
• [ ] add the 'expand on/off' code
• [ ] make the watch interface on the phone look like the phone interface (or consider syncing them up)

I've spent some time on this. It's a mess. I actually think that I should jetison the watch app for now and concentrate on the main one.
