In the process of preparing compliance test results by a vendor, it was determined that the use of floor multipliers versus modeling of all floors with appropriate adjacent space references on the Large Office model resulted in significant changes in energy consumption results. The team should determine why these differences are occurring, the impact on compliance margin, and whether additional limitations of the use of floor multipliers should be imposed.
