I never integrated an auto save because of that program. I figured if you are
interested in auto-save, just add that as a 'MyApp'. I will look more into this.

sorry just noticed this as its the 1st time using this app to check configs but
i've noticed that it don't seem to read configs inside folders (ex
config\buildcraft) is this intended as there are quite a few mods that use
folders inside the config folder. Its not a big issue but maybe an oversight.
EDIT: (sorry just seen your post) That app is good but it has a few holes where
as this program is well rounded just 'could' be improved slightly. but i
respect that if you feel that an auto-save is not needed then i won't cry over
it LOL

No problem. This isn't the first time it was requested (there might be a old
issue) but I need to revisit this anyway.
Also, if you don't create a new issue about the config, I will as that is a good point. Not sure if I will support it though but sounds doable.
I am just about to release 1.7.5.x version with some good tweaks in the next
week or sooner, imo.

cool, looking forward to it. I'll post the config as a bug now (if you haven't
beat me to it).

stevojhall,
Try this and let me know if it works for you or not.
I am interested in why this solution wouldn't be a good solution. As, I can't
think of a reason right off the cuff.

I had a look at the forum page and despite the restore "bug" i'll stick
with the other autosave utility as that backs up the save folder rather
than the level.dat, and with mods saving info in other files as well (not
sure how it works completely) but i dont want to risk data in the other
folders if corruption or error is in another dimension. only problem is
neither backup the stats file :( lol Thanks anyway for the help.
